In Fenix Museum Rotterdam, 61 years of labor migration were commemorated with the documentary Mektup

In 1964, the Labor Migration Agreement between Türkiye and the Netherlands was signed.

The 61st anniversary of this was celebrated in Rotterdam at the Fenix Migration Museum, under the patronage of the Turkish Ambassador in The Hague, Mrs. Fatma C. Yazgan. During this event, the documentary *“Mektup” (The Letter)* was shown. As a director, my goal is to keep alive the stories and experiences of the older generation and connect them with the new generation, so that a bridge is created between past and future.

My special thanks go to the Turkish Consulate General in Rotterdam and Consul General Mrs. Sevgi KISACIK. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to everyone who in any way contributed to this project.
