Below you can see the step-by-step plan for creating your animation.
- STEP 1: CONTENT ANALYSIS & STRUCTURE
- STEP 2: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
- STORYBOARD DEVELOPMENT
- STEP 4: VISUAL DESIGN
- STEP 5: ANIMATION
STEP 1: ANALYSIS OF CONTENT AND STRUCTURE OF THE ANIMATION
During a meeting, we discuss the core message of the animation. Based on this discussion and any additional briefing, we create an analysis of the information.
The goal is to determine and evaluate the desired content and structure of the animation.
STEP 2: CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
In this phase, we translate the production requirements into a creative concept proposal.
This includes the proposed format, storytelling approach, and visual style of the animation.
Animations can take on various forms.
STEP 3: STORYBOARD DEVELOPMENT
We create a voice-over script and storyboard based on our analysis of the information and the chosen concept.
The storyboard clearly illustrates what happens in the different scenes of the animation and which voice-over text fits your story.
STEP 4: VISUAL DESIGN
Based on the chosen concept proposal, we develop the visual style of the animation, ensuring that the illustrations seamlessly align with the client’s branding.
We start by visually developing one shot and then complete the entire storyboard.
STEP 5: ANIMATION
After approval of the designed shots, we have the voice-over text recorded by the chosen voice actor and start animating.
In this phase, we bring the illustrations to life and make them move. Each animation is created by hand, as every animation is unique.
STEP 6: SOUND DESIGN
A crucial element and the finishing touch of our productions is sound design, including ambient sounds, effects, and music.
Sound effects emphasize specific movements and moments in the animation, while we also provide a suggestion for suitable music.
STEP 7: IMPLEMENTATION
We deliver the final animation in multiple formats, compatible with both Mac and Windows.
In addition, we provide guidance on effectively using your animation, including tips for discoverability
and targeted promotional advice to ensure your audience actually sees the animation.
